About a friend

January 29, 2015

I am not going to use any names in this in case someone sees this and knows the person, so I am going to call him Steve.

Today I was eating lunch in my school's cafeteria, and Steve, who I know of, but don't really know, came up to me and started talking to me like we were best friends. Then somebody grabs a chip from Steve's tray. That's when Steve starts growling, snarling, making angry cat noises, but whatever it was, it sounded terrifying, and made me suspect that he was angry.

He sat with me the rest of lunch, which gave me the opportunity to get to know him a bit better. Once I got to know him better, and understand him more, I figured out that despite the fact that he hates school, he is a really cool guy. I think he has a different way of seeing the world, and in his head he thinks that growling is OK human behavior.

I think that most people do not like Steve because he is different from other people. Humans, for some reason, don't like things, or people, that are different. I myself find differences make life more fun. So for those of you who are reading this and totally disagree with me, try being different for one day and see what I mean.

I think that people like Steve make the world more interesting, and if no one was different the world would would be a much more boring place
